Davis said that people might be overreacting to former Ohio State big man Jared Sullinger’s back problems, because he did pass many team physicals. He said that Sullinger probably would have gone top 5-7 last year and now he’ll fall.
Davis had an interesting comment about NBA executives. They said that they’re more scared of making a mistake than excited about getting a great player.
Davis said that there’s no more than one franchise guy a year and there aren’t a lot of great players available. ”I think this is an unusually deep draft,” Davis said. “You can go into the middle of the second round.”
